US-Japan Forumでは大学生、若手起業家及び経営者のために、年間5つの海外研修プログラムを提供しています。各研修プログラムと日米未来フォーラムは、日本学術振興会、在サンフランシスコ日本国総領事館、JUNBA、Japan Bio Communityはじめ多数の日系団体のご支援を頂いています。

【研修概要】 本プログラムでは、米国シリコンバレー近郊の企業や教育機関にて、海外で活躍する日本人の指導を受けながら２週間の夏季実習を体験します。後半はイノベーション研修に参加し、米国の大学やベンチャー企業などを訪問し、異なる文化や価値観、考え方を学びます。また各自でアポイントメントを取り、自力で訪問する自主訪問トレーニングも行います。

California Innovation Training Program:
This is a week-long overseas training program designed to allow students to observe what it would be like to work as a variety of jobs in Silicon Valley, as well as to immerse them in a different culture. In this program, students will tour major tech companies such as Google and Apple. Students will also have the opportunity to visit universities such as Stanford University and University of California Berkeley, where they will visit laboratories, attend lectures, and interact with other students. At the end of the program, the annual US-Japan Future Forum will be held at San Jose State University, and students will learn more about the history and technology between the US and Japan while sharing ideas regarding how to strengthen the friendship between the two countries and the world. There is time allocated for sightseeing around both Silicon Valley and San Francisco. The fee for this program is about 350,000 yen, and travel expenses (round trip), passport application cost, ESTA application cost, and overseas travel accident insurance are to be paid for separately by each student.
